Committed to sharing Jesus
Victory Lutheran College is a Christian P - 12 co-educational school. It shares traditions and values with over one hundred Lutheran schools throughout Australia.
The school's educational philosophy revolves around the belief that every child is a unique individual and has the right to develop to his or her optimum. Victory Lutheran College caters for these needs by providing a supportive and caring learning environment.
Victory Lutheran College offers spacious modern classrooms, with computers available to all year levels. The current building program provides for specialist secondary areas as the school expands it's senior secondary classes.
Victory Lutheran College is located on spacious grounds in the rapidly developing residential area of Wodonga West. As part of the College's strategic plan to make an environmentally aware school, development of the grounds has involved the planting of large numbers of tress around the oval and buildings. Further landscaping is planned around all new buildings. Future plans also include a wetlands area.
The curriculum provides challenge, creativity and variety, and incorporates both State and Federal requirements.
Initiative is encouraged, as is self-discovery and leadership. Pastoral care and a safe, caring environment are fostered through a range of diverse activities which encourage students to develop their abilities in both curricular and co-curricular spheres.
A progressive approach to teaching and learning, as well as a commitment to ongoing professional development, ensure that the latest developments in technology and methodology are incorporated into the whole curriculum.
Through the formal curriculum, innovative programs provide opportunities for study and involvement in the creative and performing arts. A commitment to regular physical activity is nurtured throughout the College. Christian Living is also a core subject for students at all year levels.
We are excited at being able to continue providing quality educational on the Border and giving families a choice in education.
